Background
Rollkon designs and manufactures automated locker systems used in logistics and parcel delivery applications. Their solutions are deployed in large numbers across Hungary, primarily for the parcel locker network operated by Foxpost (now part of Packeta).
The electronics used in these systems are required to operate reliably in outdoor and semi-outdoor environments, often exposed to temperature variations and environmental influences.
Our Role
Albacomp supported Rollkon in the electronics development and manufacturing of control and interface electronics used in parcel locker systems.
Our scope of work includes:
- Electronics design and development
- PCB assembly (SMT & THT)
- Conformal coating for environmental protection
- Series production support
Testing and programming of the assemblies are performed by the customer as part of their system-level integration process.
Manufacturing & Protection
Given the operational environment of parcel locker systems, environmental protection of the electronics is a key requirement.
We apply automated conformal coating to protect PCB assemblies against moisture, dust and other environmental factors, contributing to long-term reliability in field operation.
Manufacturing processes are aligned with series production requirements and support stable quality across increasing production volumes.
