ProtectOne develops and manufactures ultrasonic tick and flea repellent devices for pets and humans, designed for long-term, reliable operation without the use of chemicals.
Our Role
Albacomp supports ProtectOne as a long-term EMS partner, contributing not only to manufacturing but also to product development and electronics design.
Our responsibilities include:
- Electronics design support and product development cooperation
- PCB assembly (SMT&THT)
- Programming and functional testing
- Final assembly
- Selected component sourcing
Throughout the product lifecycle, we have worked closely with the customer to optimize both the electronic design and the manufacturing process, ensuring reliable operation and efficient production.
Testing & Custom Equipment
After PCB assembly, all products are programmed and tested using custom bed-of-nails test fixtures developed specifically for these devices.
For battery-powered and rechargeable product variants, we also designed and built custom battery testing and charging equipment, enabling parallel testing and charging of a large number of units. This ensured consistent quality control while supporting increasing production volumes.
